The Handshake is important

The handshake should be firm.

This will show that you are a firm person, with a spine and energy.

It should not be:

• bone crushing hard.
• soft, just holding hands.
• wet or sweaty.
• Try to keep the handshake to a couple of ups and downs, the handshake should not last for ever.

Donald Trump has said that he dislikes the handshake because it carries germs and he tries to avoid handshakes. The germ theory may be true so you should wash your hands before eating something after you have done a lot of palm pressing. Unless you are Donald Trump you will not get away with refusing to give people the handshake. So you should shake the Job Interviewers’ hands.
