Multisector Bond

A Morningstar category for taxable bond funds that seek income by diversifying their assets among several fixed-income sectors, usually government-issued bonds, foreign bonds, and high-yield corporate bonds. To be classified as a bond fund by Morningstar, at least 70% of all assets must be invested in bonds.
